We are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations to lead the marketing operations and web team and support the interconnectivity between marketing strategy, execution, and measurement to achieve results.
As the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, you will play a crucial role in GoCanvas' marketing efficiency and effectiveness. You will lead the marketing operations team, encompassing marketing operations, marketing technology, and web management. This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Marketing Strategy & Operations. You will focus on the strategic development, continuous improvement, and ongoing success of GoCanvas' operational initiatives to enhance our prospect and customer experience throughout the entire lead funnel and customer lifecycle.
Your Most Important Initiatives:
- Serve as a player/coach with the marketing operations/web team to support business objectives.
- Oversee and optimize the marketing operations infrastructure, including marketing technology stacks and CRM systems.
- Develop, implement, and oversee operational strategies that enhance marketing efficiency and align with business objectives.
- Manage the execution and analysis of marketing campaigns across various channels to ensure their success and alignment with strategic goals.
- Head the optimization of owned channels, email and web, to strengthen performance as lead generation and education platforms.
- Facilitate, train, and lead troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts for lead management processes and campaign execution.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics to gauge marketing effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and IT, to ensure marketing operations are cohesive and supportive of overall company objectives.
- Drive innovation in marketing processes and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in operational capabilities.
What You Bring:
- 7 years of marketing operations hands-on experience with leadership experience is needed; SaaS experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to program manage, problem solve, and drive results, with an eye for details. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in yourself.
- Experience in a role requiring rigorous analytical problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and complex stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices, with expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Exceptional analytical and project management skills, capable of leading diverse teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. You excel in high-volume, dynamic environments where rapid assessment, decision-making, and stakeholder management are crucial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities allow effective collaboration across all organizational levels.
- A commitment to continuous improvement with a process-oriented mindset focused on efficiency, scalability, and quality.

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance (medical, dental & vision), life insurance, 401(k) & paid time off. The expected compensation range for this position is about $108k- $120k annually. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
