We help our subscribers save (literally) a ton of paper every 3 days. As a Junior Account Manager, you will have a key role to play in our long-term success.

You will be responsible for the health of our customers, getting right into our subscribers’ world to understand how GoCanvas can transform their business and help them perform even better.

You’ll work from our headquarter offices in Reston, VA and you will receive training to ensure you are familiar with our culture, mobile app platform and powerful product features. Finally, in this role you’ll gain tremendous experience seeing how a rapidly growing technology company is built from a team of proven entrepreneurs.

An ideal candidate will have worked for 1-3 years in a sales related capacity, preferably in a SaaS-based technology company & managed a book of business before. A college degree is preferred, along with a professional demeanor, the ability to work well under pressure, and an empathetic view of customers. We’re looking for “A” players who are passionate about building the company and their career.

 

Your Key Initiatives

  • Directly manage a book of smaller, fast-growing accounts to increase their business health; which means maximizing the expansion and renewals rates.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure the handoff of customer accounts is seamless and onboarding meets the high standards we set for ourselves
  • Undertake business reviews (telephone or web conference), getting to the customer “why” to expand Canvas adoption, generate referrals and amplify usage across the client organization
  • Continually analyze the customer journey and business health after the initial sales close, to identify how key success metrics and customer satisfaction can be materially improved
  • Meet (and exceed) monthly and quarterly targets, focused on: growing recurring revenue, reducing contraction/churn and ensuring renewals

 

What You Bring

  • Ability to pursue a structured, analytical and process-oriented approach, combined with a high degree of enthusiasm and drive to meet challenges and targets alike
  • Customer champion, leading the charge to delight our clients and constantly impress them with the way we serve and support them
  • Results-oriented, with a proven record of using reporting metrics/KPIs to track progress against goals. It is a given that you'll be professional, hard-working and ethical
  • Excellent at cross-functional collaboration and consultation, developing good working relationships with other teams, and able to balance multiple projects concurrently
  • Experienced Salesforce.com user with proficient computer skills in Excel. Good communicator, able to clearly convey a persuasive rationale
